DELETED VIDEOS AND PHOTOS

Can someone please explain why xhamster deletes videos and photos in a seemingly random way? I had only three videos I had posted myself and then suddenly one of my videos was gone. It was deleted after being up 4 months. The reason given was copyright complaint. The video was old and was taken off of a VHS tape but it was very hot and nasty and very good. I have no idea why so many videos and photos are deleted. I constantly read where people are always complaining about their videos and photos being deleted. 90% of all videos on xhamster are copyrighted. The only videos that aren't copyrighted are the amateur videos. I think it's some kind of personal thing that someone doesn't like or some person xhamster doesn't agree with so they just bust balls by deleting videos and photos. One reason videos have become very boring on xhamster is that the very good hot videos are being deleted. Maybe someone or someone's on this sight have sexual hang ups and just delete videos and photos that they find too nasty for their taste. That is what it looks like and I believe that is what's going on. If you don't like a certain video or a certain kind of video then don't watch it. Because your taste in porn isn't the same as mine doesn't make you right.

LIVING FROM BEING ALLOWED TO MAKE COPYS AND SAFELY SELL THEM BECAUSE YOU

Its the xhamster business model . You do long porn film you post short movie you pay for that and it take users to your website, and xhamsters is paied back, Xhamster is not something to make people happy it is about make money with your cum

Could be space related too. Maybe they delete certain random vids because they need more space on their hard drive.

I agree! I find much more "interesting" material on other sites now. Maybe xHAMSTER is just being overly careful from a legal perspective, but I don't know much about that aspect of what this kind of site is all about. But it does seem random and arbitrary at times.

to boobbarter : I don't think that's the issue either, they've taken down two of my videos, of me, taken by me, for copyright complaint!
They were my damn movies and I sure as hell didn't complain about them being on this site.
Maybe there's a severe language barrier?

to JackEagle : Thank you and yes I know the "policy"..I've been here for 6 years. The problem is that the "policy" isn't applied evenly or fairly. As I've said 90% of videos posted on xhamster are copyrighted..only the amateur self made videos aren't copyrighted. If xhamster applied their "policy" as they have written it then this sight could not exist. Like I've said I had three videos that I had posted then one day, after it had been up 4 months, one video was gone and the reason was copyright complaint. I don't believe it and I will not contribute to this sight by uploading videos. Anyway thanks for writing and the info.

eellee, in actuality, the people that own / run this site state they are from Cyprus and therefore US copyright laws are respected because xHamster CHOOSES to, thus resulting in video removal. You can see their policy here: http://xhamster.com/dmca.php I can remember when videos (and pics) getting deleted was a rarity.

I had a video deleted that wasn't approved, a cumshot compilation from another site because of a watermark, and a personal cumpilation always results in an error message on here and it's driving me nuts, can't get it online

I get mine deleted for the same reasons and they aren't copyrighted. Or if they have a problem with 1 pic they take the whole folder down.

They try to force people to produce and post their own content. I have no other logical explanation. Like you said they even delete old vhs videos.

I have had several of my favorite vids deleted. Most where things like Anal Acrobats and where deleted because they are fairly new and still on sale on DVD's so a free version of it would hurt their profits, and would mean they might not be able to make a new volume. So really I can get behind that kind of deletion. But at the same time I have had really good old stuff (I say old stuff but I'm talking 5-7yrs old not so much VHS old) deleted too so it can get pretty annoying somethings.
