Why You Should NEVER Post Names in the Comments

Why You Should NEVER Post Names in the Comments

.
.
Why?

Because of Algorithms.

A-L-G-O-R-I-T-H-M-S

-"an algorithm is basically an instance of logic written in SOFTWARE by software developers to be effective for the intended TARGET to produce output from given input." -Wikipedia

ie: The moment the "Target" (Name of Pornstar) is posted, the "Software" (xHamster) spits it out and removes the video.

Many Pornstars do not want their content on porn sites.
Either because they have their own website, or for copyright issues.
So xHamster has deals with them to delete/remove any content of theirs
PICTURES & VIDEOS

When you post their names in the comments, the algorithm is going to find it and remove the video.
Just PM the uploader or someone who might know.

Some users seem to get a thrill by posting names in comments, as if it were a popularity contest.
It isn't. It only results in video deletion and could get the user blocked from uploading future videos, as I did.

Posting initials is a great work-around.
Here is a list:

So PLEASE, don't post names!

....because A-L-G-O-R-I-T-H-M-S

Plus I would block you.

I personally don't post names, but  also don't like a million messages and comments asking for them. I don't always know or keep track of every performer in ever gif I post. I suppose if it were an entire gallery dedicated to one girl it wouldn't be a problem. I do like your idea of keeping an index though. I might have to start doing that.

to biorgium : Message the uploader.

If you're lucky the title can be searched on other sites.

I've had this problem, I feel you. Sometimes the search is real.

to mojitog : What's weird is that some new galleries get refused for having a certain name in them, when there are already galleries with that name. Luckily, of the 300 galleries I've posted (most include names), I was only refused a handful of times.

to girllover59 : But if you spot a performer that you REALLY want to see more of, how can you do that if you don't know her name to search for more content with her in it? Not all performers are the same or interchangeable. It really matters to know who they are if you want to see more of their content, right?

About a year ago (I think) they started doing a big DMCA crackdown. Most of my videos disappeared. I thought I was doing a good thing by listing the origins and preformers in the clips I posted. Turned out to be very wrong.

I never ask for names in the comments section...I see a lot of users ask "name pls"...I just don't understand why>Just look for free Webcams, that should be enough to satisfy any user...Go to a Dating site if you want to meet someone,or "Sex-Buddy" sites...People should always respect other people's privacy...Peace Out.

to waysted1972 : Ain't that the truth.

Some of my galleries never got passed moderation based purely on who it was.

Klixen is a perfect example, because it was Her gallery. Hence why I started the 'Her Gifs' collection.

to mojitog : I don't know about lucky, I lost 4 accounts and over 35 thousand uploads and lots of hard work before I figured it out, and sometimes you don't need watermarks, I edit my vids and pics, and sometimes it doesn't matter, upload something from twistys and see how fast it gets taken down, I am very selective now, more selective about who owns it as opposed to who is in it, I have known about the name thing for a few years, and it doesn't matter if this site has an agreement with anyone, if you name someone on any site, and it is searched and shows up, it has the chance of being taken down

to waysted1972 : Your lucky. The ones I had removed didn't have watermarks....

They got deleted because of users naming the stars in the comments.

Only a select few stars have this weird deal with xHam, and I just happen to upload a couple

Most of the time the porn stars have nothing to do with a video getting taken down, it is the production companies, girls under contract do not own the material, the same with pics, and most still do not have there own website and or production capabilities, for instance Little Caprice now has her own site, she also only does vids for x-art exclusively, the company she used to work for, they still have the rights to all the vids and pics she did with them, I have never had nothing taken down from her own site, but post something older, with the huge Little Caprice watermark and it will get taken down, for the porn stars it is free advertisement, to the production company it is a loss of money...
